Research Interest

The central question in my research is “how does one´s definition of well-being at work reflect on the actual well-being, performance and relationship with others in organization?”. In the past years, I have investigated this question in the context of larger research lines, related to wellbeing at workplace, emotions in service encounters, self-determination in service sector and, recently safety behavior in construction sector and safety training transfer. I have used a broad range of techniques, including the traditional survey methods, psychological experiments, as well as a range of statistical methods to investigate my questions.  In most of my research I use quantitative methods, but I also started to grasp on qualitive analysis, as a way of complementing my findings.
